AUDIENCE RESEARCH FEEDBACK. (FOCUS GROUP)

The Pie Chart above, shows what type of music videos people like to watch.
This questionnaire provided us with the information that performance based music videos are the most popular with a total of 55% of people taking an interest in this. Narrative based music videos comes in at second place with 25% of people who take an interest in these types of music videos.
Finally, Concept based music videos. These types of music videos were the least popular type of music video to watch... (from our findings)

Our audience members informed us that if we were to try and incorporate all 3 styles of the different music videos into ours, then our music video would be really heavy in content, and that it would be risky trying to make everything flow together. We were advised to choose 2 different styles rather than 3.

Our music video is a Pop and Rap based genre, and the song we chose, is...Tinie Tempah - Girls Like - ft Zara Larsson. The plan is to have a vague disjointed narrative to our music video, but mainly have the sole focus on performance coming from the main artist. Kamaljit Ubhi will be the main lip synced, performer and artist, whilst Avi is the back up lip syncer for the girls part of the song.
We will have various slow motion, fast forward, multi colourisation layer effect, reverse of the same shot effect and also very good performance, complimented by the change in location.


The Pie Chart above, shows how our audience consume their music videos.
Daily Motion and the Other option both came under 0 votes. Only 2% of our audience view their music videos on the MTV Television channel, with 4% viewing theirs through the official VEVO website. However, unsurprisingly, a huge 94% of our audience watch their music videos by searching them up on YouTube. 
YouTube is the most popular place to watch videos on the internet since it had opened in 2005...especially for music videos.
We were absolutely delighted when we found out that this was the most viewed site to consume music videos, as we are able to easily upload our music video onto YouTube for everyone to see with no hassle.
This is extremely advantageous for us as we are susceptible to more views from all around the world.


The Pie Chart above shows which digital devices our audience use, in order to access music videos.
laptop/desktop is leading with 50%, whilst tablet consumption is at 20% and smartphone is at 22%.(TV at 7% and console at 1%)
We were not surprised with the results as we had expected the laptops, smartphones and tablets to be the top 3 consumers. Being in the 21st century, we are at a stage where technology is booming. The technological advancements means that people are viewing music videos on a vast amount of digital platforms.
Ultimately, the majority of consumers will go on YouTube no matter what digital device they are using. This is great as YouTube is not only a website, but an App as well. The App is available on OS, IOS, OIS software. 

Overall, the consumption habits, preferability and interests in music videos are quite vast and it is very good to hear how we could benefit from all this data, and especially take on board the advice given to us for our music video.

FONT UPDATE FOR DIGIPAK. (PLUS LOGO)

I did not use the 1001 Fonts website, nor did I use the Zelta font.
I had used a website called https://cooltext.com and had chosen a Gold Bold supernova font, and also an illuminated red and white font. I had also used an American TypeWriter font

I felt that these fonts suited my theme and followed my genre. The Zelta font did NOT look pleasing at all.

OUR COMPANY LOGO.

This is our logo for our company. The "H" stands for my name, "Hassan", and the "K" stands for "Kamaljit". It did not take long for us to come up with this idea, as we both wanted to incorporate both of our initials next to each other, in order for us to be represented as a team. The "STUDIOS" in the logo, just states how we view ourselves, and how we went to be seen by the public and it is how we want to be recognised in the music industry. The short and long lines at the top and bottom of the logo represent how we have a solid mindset, as the lines give the impression of our logo being compact, but full of innovative and amazing ideas. The music icon on both sides of the "HK STUDIOS", shows how we start with a song in mind, and complete it with the same intention and same commitment we had at the beginning. The abstract arrow designs on both ends of the logo represent how myself and Kamaljit both come together as one, in order to express our ideas, as well as ultimately agreeing on a final choice about our project in regards to our song, album. 

We decided to use the colours red and blue as it portrays an image of a graffiti like atmosphere which is shown in our music video. The colour black for our "HK STUDIOS" connotes dominant we are in the music industry, leaving a positive footprint in the music industry. Also, the colours above, below, to the left and to the right of our "HK STUDIOS" name provide us with energy, as we are able to gather tons of information, and turn that into a beautiful masterpiece.

Our logo is very eye-catching, and we both extremely adore the logo.

DIGIPAK CONSTRUCTION PROCESS:FRONT, BACK, RIGHT, LEFT PANELS (PLUS CONSTRUCTION FOR CD & SPINE)

For the front, back, right interior, left interior, CD and spine of my DIGIPAK, I had used the Adobe PhotoShop CC software on the Apple iMac.

I had used the spot healing brush to remove any impurities for my chosen images, so that they look very clean and professional.

I had brightened the images up, as they were taken in low light.

I had also adjusted with the colour, contrast and saturation levels of the images.

For all the fonts on every panel of my digpak (including the spine and CD), I had to download the fonts from different websites and had adjusted them onto my digipak via photoshop.

The original pictures were altered via colourisation effects across the board, and also the colours used for the fonts were red, white, blue, black, gold and (grey for the serial number). All the colours are the artists favourite colours, which he had taken inspiration from the graffiti location in his music video.

FOR THE FRONT:
I had used the quick selection tool to single out the background from the artist, just so I can make the artist look brighter and stand out. I had merged the opacity levels, so that there is a seamless blend between the artist and the background. Both were very bright. I had added the artists name and the name of the song by downloading the font styles from different websites.

FOR THE BACK:
I had used the crop tool to eliminate any excess and unwanted space from my photo. I had adjusted it to the size of my liking. I had brightened the background immensely, and had also added my fonts that I had downloaded beforehand, for the 12 songs, and the legal information. I was able to resize these. I had also adjusted the colour, sharpness, clarity and saturation levels, mixing between the warm and cool colours, in order to achieve a bright outcome as a result. I had then added my company logo, and also the trademark CopyRight logo, as well as the barcode. I had made the blue background pop out, as well as the artists white collared shirt.

FOR THE RIGHT INTERIOR:
I had cropped the image to the correct size, and had brightened the image, as well as masking, adjusting, and layering the image, so that eventually my outcome can come out bright and eye catching.

FOR THE LEFT INTERIOR:
I had brightened and adjusted the saturation level of the image.
I also had to crop the image so that any irrelevant and unwanted parts of the image were left out.

FOR THE CD:
I had downloaded a CD template from GOOGLE, which I had then inserted into photoshop. I had then deleted the unnecessary guidelines and has adjusted my image to fit not only the screen, but to fill the entire left interior of the panel, as well as the CD. The same image was used for the CD and the left panel. I had used the horizontal font tool, in order to insert the name of the artist, the name of the song, and also the legal information. (the various fonts / styles were downloaded from different websites) I had then inserted our company logo (which I had made online) and had also inserted the CopyRight TradeMaark Logo next to the legal information. The recognition of the artist and their song is absolutely vital.

FOR THE SPINE:
I had to resize my image, and had filled my rectangle in a white colour. This is because I wanted the name of the song and the artist's name to stand out, as well as the company logo. I had used the vertical type tool to add the lettering to the spine of my digpack.

OVERALL:
I had found Adobe PhotoShop CC challenging at first, as I had never used it before, but have now familiarised myself with it. I really enjoyed using this software, and it had become very easy over time. It is a truly amazing software that provides you with the essential tools to create an outstanding and professional outcome of your project.




SPINE OF DIGIPAK IDEAS.


Here, the artists name, the company logo, and the name of the song/album,
can be seen on the spine. I may have to make an adjustment to this, and add a serial number as well.
It is vital to promote the name of the song/album, artist, and also the production company.
I shall take inspiration from these ideas.

THE COLOURS FOR ALL PANELS OF THE DIGIPAK INCLUDING THE SPINE WILL REVOLVE AROUND GOLD, WHITE, RED, BLACK AND BLUE. THESE ARE THE FAVOURITE COLOURS OF THE ARTIST, AND HE HAS TAKEN INSPIRATION FROM THE GRAFFITI BACKGROUND IN HIS MUSIC VIDEO (SONG NAME: GIRLS LIKE BY KAMZ UBHI)

CD DIGIPAK IDEAS PLUS LEFT (INTERIOR) PANEL (UPDATED) IN BACKGROUND.


Here, the artist is seen on the CD, alongside the abbreviations of his 
song/album and also his musical stage name.
I may alter this a little, by changing the abbreviations of his 
song/album to the full name... "GIRLS LIKE".
The song name must be promoted because ultimately, it is the selling point for the artist, and is bigger than the artist, as what they produce for their fans and the music industry will make them money.
I have incorporated the artist, graffiti background, song/album and the artist name on the CD. I may also add the company logo at the bottom of the CD, and the legal information at the top of the CD.
The graffiti background follows through to the left interior panel as well, so there is only 1 image taking space of the CD and left interior of the digipak together.
It is vital to express the artist and their song/album as much as possible.
I shall take inspiration from these ideas.

LEFT (INTERIOR) OF DIGIPAK IDEAS.


On this left interior panel of the digipak, I have used the graffiti 
background from the music video we have created. (using the song"Girls Like")
The artist's initials are there, however, I may alter this by placing an image of the artists face, alongside his name, song/album name as well.
I aim to keep the graffiti theme with the artist consistent throughout for all aspects of my digipak.
It is vital to promote the artist,song/album.
I shall take inspiration from these ideas.

RIGHT (INTERIOR) OF DIGIPAK IDEAS.


There is no text on the right interior of the digipak because this side usually promotes 
the artist even further, by showing extremely amazing and aesthetically appreciative 
pictures of the artist himself. 
This is for the audience to observe and fall in love with the artist.
It is vital to promote the artist even further, so that their popularity can increase.
I shall take inspiration from these ideas.

BACK OF DIGIPAK IDEAS.


The artist is showing different poses, ultimately expressing more about himself.
The songs of the artist are listed up to 11, however I may change that number to 12, just to make the way i format the songs, even. The back promotes the artist but mainly the songs that the artist has produced as a new edition to the digipak. The barcode, legal information and the logo are
all ate the bottom of the back of the digipak.
Also, idea number 1 is my favourite, as it looks like the artist is looking at some 
of his songs on the right hand side of the back of the digipak.
This is a very clever technique to promote the songs created by the artist.
It is vital to promote the songs created by the artist.
I shall take inspiration from these ideas.

The important aspect is that the artists face has to be shown, in order for them to be recognisable to their fans. These are close up shots of "KAMZ UBHI". 
The name of the song/album is also shown.

WEBSITE ANALYSIS, TAYLOR SWIFT.

The second website I will be analysing is, Taylor Swift'.
Taylor Swift is one of the leading contemporary recording artists in the world. Taylor is a true inspiration to many people, and has also received a widespread media coverage for her narrative songs and also for her personal life.

As we click on her website, we are instantly directed to the home page. The home page is very important, and ensures to sell the artist straight away. When clicking on or refreshing the website, we see a black, white and grey tonal picture of Taylor Swift. However, there is constant animation in the background of text appearing, disappearing then re-appearing again. The animated text appearing in the background is Taylor Swift' name in a newspaper style font and style. Her name is written several times in paragraphs, 1, 2 or 3 sentences. The style of the text, the monotone colours and the newspaper layout is all related to her new studio album called "REPUTATION".
Already, the audience are extremely hooked onto the home page, as the animations excite them, and are also already being in the know of who Taylor Swift is as an artist. There is not much going on the home page welcoming screen apart from the animations and an icons list button on the top left corner of the website. The interesting aspect of the welcoming page is that the entire page is "CLICKABLE". The viewers can click anywhere on the screen, and by doing this, they will be directed to a separate window which takes them straight to Taylor Swift' new album page on Apple inc's website, with another  optional link to press to go and view the album on iTunes. The price is listed for the entire album containing a total of 15 songs. The audience would be tempted to buy her digital version of the album, as they would be able to have easy access to it once the album is in their iTunes account. (Only suitable for customers who have purchased the product) The audience would be making a clever investment, by purchasing the artists album, therefore enabling Taylor's fan base to increase rapidly, therefore resulting in an increase in sales.
As mentioned previously, the home page is extremely simple but effective to an extent, in terms of promoting herself and her new album. When scrolling down one swipe, we see the same home page image for her album "REPUTATION", but this time a still version. Her album name is present, alongside an available now tag, followed by a hyperlinked "PURCHASE HERE" link to click on if anyone is interested in purchasing the album. When clicking the right button once, we see another cover image for the same album, but this time the hyperlink states "TAYLOR SWIFT'S REPUTATION STADIUM TOUR ON SALE NOW". This link directs the customer to a ticketmaster page on a separate tab, so that they are able to book their tour, should they be interested to purchase a 1 ticket or more. Clicking the button again takes you to a coloured picture of taylor swift, but this time this hyperlink states "THE SWIFT LIFE AVAILABLE WORLD WIDE". This is an app that fans can download on the Apple store and soon on the GOOGLE playstore. The app allows fans to talk to one another, collect stickers and Taymoji packs, post pictures, listen to music, and also get to check out Tylor swift' exclusive posts. This enables the audience and Taylor to interact with one another and ultimately get to know more about each other. Fans will be able to express themselves freely. Another click of the button will take the viewer to a "SHOP MERCH HERE" page, which the customers and explore and possibly purchase some merchandise.
Another scroll down swipe takes you to her music video called 'END GAME", with Ed Sheeran, which viewers can watch for free. Scrolling down again shows the events section where viewers are able to see and purchase a standard ticket or a VIP ticket. The dates and locations are provided alongside a plus button for more options.
When scrolling down once more, we see the news section with Taylor's updated song playlist, a behind the scenes video and also Valentines Day march packages to purchase as well. (Read Full Article options are available as well)
At the very bottom of the page is states in bold black capital letters... "CONNECT WITH TAYLOR". Below this heading are all her social media sites which include her business contact email, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter and also her personal YouTube Channel. This allows her audience to connect further with Taylor and be an everyday part of her life. Also, the menu bar at the top left corner of the website shows the titles..."NEWS", "EVENTS", "MUSIC", and "STORE". Below these are all her social media sites which have also been shown at the bottom of the website.

The Purpose of the website is to promote Taylor Swift (THE ARTIST), her music, and also to expand her fanbase. More sales will mean that she will be more well known around the world than she already is, and also allowing her to succeed every time in the music industry.

The News section includes 51 topics to read about. These show Taylor's interviews, VOGUE Magazine covers, music videos, host shows she has been a guest in and many more exciting things. By reading news about Taylor, her fans would be able to learn more about her life overall. This is really good attribute in order for the fans and Taylor to have a strong bond / connection.

The Music section shows 6 different albums of Taylor's, 103 music videos / Lyrics songs, and also iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Deezer, Amazon music, Apple music, Walmart, Taylor Swift Store, and Target as the places where these albums / songs could be downloaded or physically purchased from. This allows the audience to have a wide range of real and online stores to purchase her content from.

The Events section shows Taylor's tour dates which her fans can buy. This is an opportunity for her fans and for those interested to come and see her perform live in real-time.

The Store section shows Taylor's merchandise, photos and here official Ebay link. The merchandise consists of sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, vests, key rings, socks, hats, phone covers, bags, phone stands and her Album CD's for both sex's males and females. The LookBook section in the store section shows how the merchandise clothing looks on the male or female. (shows how good the products actually look on models) The Old Taylor Link for Ebay in the store section shows her ratings and followers on Ebay. The audience would benefit from the overall Store section as they would be able to buy her clothes and accessories and have them delivered to their own homes o they can wear them and express their fan love for Taylor!

There is quite a lot of information about Taylor Swift in the news section, which allows her audience to keep up with what she has, is or will be doing. The style is very simple, but in my opinion, a lot more colours are needed as there are no stand out features other than the live moving animation on the home page. Too much white is shown. The design and layout is good, as the different parts of the websites are separated from one another. The navigation of the website is easy to work around, as everything is precise, but the menu bar is not very easy to identify as it almost camouflages into the newspaper themed background. Apart from that, the titles in the menu bar are easy and extremely neat to see and most definitely use freely without ant problems.

Overall, I do like this website, but I feel that there should be more brighter colours included generally, other than black, white and grey, as they portray a melancholic theme. I enjoyed observing the merchandise section, due to the variety, as well as the events section. I would however have liked to have seen more photos of Taylor herself on the website, rather than having to click through to her Instagram social media account to view her pictures. I would give this website a solid 7 out of 10 stars.







WEBSITE ANALYSIS, ZAYN MALIK.

The third website I will be analysing is Zayn Malik'.
Zayn Malik is a former One Direction star but is now a solo performer. He has changed as an individual, as an artist, and also as a performer. His entire character has changed drastically. Despite all this, this has all been a very positive outcome for him, as he is able to express himself how he likes. He has an enormous amount of fans around the world who are predominantly females. He is a true inspiration to many young teens and adults, and is a role model when looking to come out of your shell and show your true character. He is an absolutely amazing singer.

As we click on his website, we are directed to the home page straight away. The home page promotes and showcases the artist from the get go. When clicking or refreshing the website, we see a black screen, which then slowly shows the letters "ZAYN" fade in on the screen. The letters are in capital letters, and contain an off white, smokey, ongoing live flair effect to it. The background gradually fades in after the lettering. The background is of big and extreme close ups of Zayn's tattooed body. There is no scrolling left, right, or down on the welcoming home page. The audience and his fans instantly know that Zayn' jolly character has died down to a more serious and almost rebellious character, ever since he had left One Direction. We can see his new style through his tattoos shown on screen, and also the use of the smoke and dark effect. At the bottom centre of the page, there is a subscription box where viewers can "SIGN UP TO GET EXCLUSIVE CONTENT". This tells the audience and fans that they will receive important information about their idol Zayn Malik, should they choose to sign up. At the bottom right hand side of the website, we can see Zayn Malik' social media sites. These consist of, his Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat, Spotify, VEVO and also his personal YouTube channel. These are useful for the fans to take a note of, as they could listen to and watch his music on various platforms, as well as keep up to date on his social life and locations.
There is no menu bar, but at the top left hand side of the website, the options to view either his Music, Videos, Tour and Shop are there. Also, each time the computer mouse hovers over the 4 different words, the background picture of Zayn would change. This gives an insight to his fans on how his physical appearance really looks like, and how he finds himself aesthetically pleasing. Most if not all of his fans are definitely in utter awe of Zayn Malik himself.

The Purpose of the website is to promote Zayn Malik (THE ARTIST), his music, and also his fanbase, which would most definitely increase his popularity alongside making some profit. His presence in the music industry is key, and his website just aids to make him grow as an excellent singer.

In the Music section, we see 7 songs, 2 albums, and a total of 51 songs altogether. The album or individual cover is on the left side of the website, whilst on the right side, there is a few seconds taster of the songs, which can be played via the Spotify play button. In the song taster box, there is a share button which allows viewers to share the song on Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Twitter OR  Link / Embed. Above the song taster boxes, there is a "BUY NOW" menu that folds down with options to purchase the song / album from the following: Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, VEVO, Amazon Music, Google Play and also Soundcloud. This enables viewers to access his songs on many platforms and enjoy to listen to them anytime, anywhere! This is such a great moment for his fans, as they re able to listen to any of his songs without any complications. The music section does not open in separate tab, but to go back to the home page, you just have to click on "ZAYN" in the top right hand corner on any occasion.

The Video section shows 8 of his music videos as you are able to scroll down the page. This is good for the audience as they can see the work and effort he has put into his previous music videos, essentially bringing and telling more about his character and changed persona for the better.

The Tour section simply states "COMING SOON", as there are no dates currently on the screen.

The Shop section has 4 parts to it... Versus, Book, Merch and Music. The Versus part 1 is a link to the Versace website. This specific part of the website is of Zayn Malik's choice, and includes limited edition lunar wear for both men and women. The Book part 2 is shown in the website, and it is a book about Zayn Malik where he shares a photographic journey of of his life after leaving One Direction. His book is available to buy in 19 different countries, as stated in the drop down "BUY NOW" box menu. The Merch part 3 is a link opened on a separate tab. This is where Zayn Malik's Official merchandise is sold. There are Womens clothes and outwear as well as the Mens clothing and outwear. There is also accessories which both genders can wear / use. Hats, Hoodies, Shirts, Posters and Jumpers are sold, alongside many more. The Music part 4 is a link shown in a separate tab. Zayn' Exclusive, Deluxe and Standard CD music CD's are there to purchase / pre-order for the more prestigious top end product. His main social media sites are always shown on his websites, and also the legal information and newsletter sign up are at the bottom of the website. The use of the SHOP feature is the most entertaining part of the website, as there is a lot on offer for his fans. His fans are able to purchase clothing, accessories and his music on a CD! This is a huge advantage for his fans because they can express their love and support for Zayn Malik. All the products on Zayn' site really shows how much he cares and appreciates for his fans. The audience are most certainly in for a treat from Zayn Malik.

There is very little information about Zayn Malik on his website. His book blurb description only provides some vague, basic and common facts and information about him.

Overall, this is a good website, but there are not many major wow factors other than the welcoming page animations and the shop section. I found this website rather bland and boring. This is because there was no information about Zayn Malik himself, and there was also no place on the website where we could view any photos of him. I would have liked to see more text and photos, alongside some tour dates! I would give this website a solid 6.5 out of 10 stars.










WEBSITE ANALYSIS, SELENA GOMEZ.

The first website I will be analysing, is Selena Gomez'.
Selena is an icon and role model to many young fans, and has also been an inspiration to many young and aspiring singers. Selena has many albums and is always a challenging contender for other singers, as well as providing top quality music for her fans.

As we click on her website, we are directed straight to the home page. The home page tends to instantly promote the artist from the get go. We see a huge image of Selena herself, and that particular image coming from her latest EP album / song... WOLVES.
We can see that on the right hand side of the home page, is a 5 column way table, which asks for your personal details (optional to sign up) on whether you would like to "SIGN UP TO BE THE FIRST TO HEAR NEWS FROM SELENA". This is a vital part of the home page as it already engages and gets the viewers thinking about keeping up to date with their favourite artist.
Also, her drop down menu includes every country in the world, so that wherever her fans me be around the world, they will not be missing out on her content. Selena has an extremely large fan base, and definitely ensures that every fan is updated on her life, no matter where they are in the world.  Below the box, the legal information is stated, which is then followed by the subscribe button. This is just to ensure that the audience and subscribers know exactly what they are going to receive, should they confirm their subscription. To the right of the subscription box, there is an arrow. This arrow directs you to her previous major songs such as "FETISH" and "BAD LIAR", and then the final slide shows a picture of  her from her WOLVES video, with a title of "WATCH THE WOLVES VIDEO". This is a smart and deliberate action as the audience are again reminded about her current release. The first slide of the home page shows an image of her from wolves, and so does the 4th slide, telling the audience to watch the music video. Selena Gomez' WOLVES picture takes up roughly 95% of the screen, whilst the other 5% are the other topics at the very top of the web page. In the top left corner of the home page website of Selena Gomez we can see all her social media app site links such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube Account, Snapchat, Apple music and Spotify. This tells the audience that she is an active user on social media, and frequently updates, therefore making it easier for her fans to communicate with her on many different platforms. Next to the social media icons, we have the other parts of the website, labelled as... News, Music, Videos, Photos (Includes Instagram, Official and Revival Photos drop down menu), Tour, Community (Includes Love and Forum drop down menu), Film, Store and 13 Reasons Why. At the very end of theta white information website bar is a login button for existing users / subscribers. Also, Selena Gomez' first 2 names are written at the top centre of the website in bold and slender text. This just reminds the audience where they are. Selena's home page welcome picture from WOLVES depicts an image of her looking at her viewers in their eyes. This creates excitement and also creates a brief interaction between the artist and the viewer on an emotional level. A lot has been shown on the welcoming home page, and this is a good aspect of her website, as her viewers get a broad idea of everything taking place and about to take place in terms of continuing further into the website.

When scrolling down the website, we are introduced to 4 more sections of the website on the home page. The first section is the "Official Merch" section, whereby we can see 2 half sleeve polo shirts, 1 jogger pants, and a hoodie, all relating to her recent release "WOLVES". The third section is the same as the first welcome page, but this time states "BECOME A SELENATOR" at the top of the subscription box. This is just another reminder to the audience that they can become a part of Selena's life and get involved in all the fun and action, again ensuring and emphasising how they should and would not want to miss out on anything. The fourth section is the Photos and Instagram section, alongside a Community section which allows the audience to get involved and keep up to date with her social life and her particular social media account. At the very bottom of the page we see her social media links again, the Record Company, Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. We also see a customer care help button at the bottom right hand side of the website.

The Purpose of the website is to promote Selena Gomez (THE ARTIST), her music, and also to expand her fan base, ultimately making profit and selling more products. The objective is to make the artist and their music very popular around the entire world, enabling a huge success in the music industry.

In the News section, we can click on an amazing 47 things / news topics she has done or taken part in. This is useful for the viewers as they are aware of what Selena has been getting up to in present day and in the past. We can see her highlights, interviews, events, music videos and many more exciting content about her.

In the Music section, we can see her songs,various remixes and also 3 of her very top albums at the very top of the page. She has her top 39 tracks included in all 3 of her top albums altogether. Apple Music, Spotify and a personal Save bar are next to each of the albums. The viewers are able to buy and listen to her songs and different versions. The word of mouth expands her audience as well, as many fans would interact with their friends and family about Selena's success.

There is quite a lot of information about Selena Gomez, which allows the audience to keep up to date with her current and previous content and also her social raw life. The Style of the website is very simple, as the colour scheme is a white background throughout the entire website. The design and layout flows really well, especially with the bright pictures of Selena Gomez herself, as some of her background pictures for the website. (Everything is very well structured) Also, the Navigation of the website is really simple and effective, as clicking on hyperlinks open in a new tab, the content is played out very neatly and also, everything is very smooth and free with no complicated links or animation. I enjoy the aspect of clicking on Selena Gomez' name, in order to be redirected back to the home page. This is simple and easy for the user to navigate their way around the website.

Overall, I really like this website, although I do believe that it could improve on the white colour scheme for the background. I really enjoyed viewing the music videos, but would have liked to see interactive videos to enhance the users experience. I would give this website a solid 8.5 out of 10 stars.
